RATES

To encourage the broadest participation possible in the conference we are offering a range of registration categories. Make sure you read the Registration Discounts to check whether you are eligible for one of these categories.

*All rates are displayed in AUD Australian Dollars. Registrations made after Sunday 16 May 2021 will incur a $100 late booking fee. Any cancellations made after this date will not receive a refund.

Join a Hub

The Brisbane and Sydney hubs will allow our community to come together to learn, connect, network, and collaborate over the three-day conference.  Delegates will have one or two days of face-to-face interaction and networking, and then attend the remaining days virtually from their homes or offices.

  • Full conference registration allows access to one of the hubs and full access to the virtual content for all three days.
  • Day Only conference registration for the Sydney hub will only allow access to one day of the face-to-face component (day to be specified during registration), and access to all of the On Demand content from the conference. No access to any of the content from the Brisbane program (Sunday 30 May) will be provided.
  • Day Only conference registration for the Brisbane hub will allow access to the Brisbane hub on Sunday 30 May, and all of the On Demand content from the conference. No access to any of the content from the Sydney program (Monday 31 May + Tuesday 1 June) will be provided.

Group Registration

Using the Group Registration Portal you will be able to designate a group coordinator then register, view and manage multiple registrations in one place as well as receive one invoice for multiple registrations.

Group Discounts available for face-to face Hub Registrations through the Group Registration Portal ONLY:

  • For every group of five (5) full conference registrations, the sixth (6th) full conference registration will be free (when registered through the Group Registration Portal ONLY)
  • For every group of ten (10) full conference registrations, the eleventh (11th) and twelfth (12th) full conference registrations will be free (when registered through the Group Registration Portal ONLY)

DISCOUNTS

Community Workers to be eligible for this rate you must be employed by a not-for-profit community organisation, work for a community-based organisation or direct action group.

Student Rate a student is defined as a holder of a full time student identification card from a recognised tertiary or secondary educational institution or international student card. Students must be studying full time to qualify for the discounted rate. Please note: A copy of your student identification card must be sent via email to: info@hepatitis2021.org.au  Without this copy, the full registration fee will be charged.

Organisation Rate by purchasing this registration you will be able to be registered as a company, not as an individual. The registration can be shared between staff members from the 1 organisation, with a maximum of 5 people on 1 pass. Enabling one person at any one time to attend conference sessions or events. Each registrant will be required to sign in and out with the name badge, onsite at the conference.

Note: Organisations who would like to share registration passes between colleagues, please refer to the organisation group registration rate. We will not allow single registrations to be shared between delegates.

Resource Limited Country countries that are eligible for the Resource-Limited Registration Rates are those countries that are considered Low Income Economies and Lower-Middle Income Economies by the World Bank. Upper-Middle Income and High Income Economies are not eligible for this rate.

Lived Experience Rate: A person with lived experience is define as someone who is living with chronic hepatitis B or hepatitis C or, a person who has previously had chronic hepatitis C or, people who have significant current risk factors for contracting hepatitis B or hepatitis C.

MEDIA REGISTRATION

GUIDELINES

Accredited journalists may attend the conference free of charge. To apply for media registration you need to:

  • Apply for and receive media accreditation
  • Complete the registration process

Who is eligible for media accreditation?

Representatives from the following media may apply for media credentials:

  • general-circulation newspapers, magazines, or medical publications
  • broadcast news media
  • community newsletters

Please note that individuals, agents or contractors providing coverage for or being sponsored by industry may not register as media.

What does media registration include?

Free registration to the conference which includes conference social functions. Any auxiliary events that delegates are required to pay to attend is to be paid for by media representatives as well.

How to apply?

To be accredited, journalists are required to email info@hepatitis2021.org.au with the following:

  • A letter from their editor, producer, or news director on letterhead with signature OR a copy of the publication’s masthead with the reporter’s name listed;
  • A sample of a recent article or news report;
  • A letter of assignment (for freelance journalists only) on letterhead with signature;

The Conference may request additional materials if needed to establish the appropriateness of a media outlet or journalist for accreditation. Journalists who meet the press criteria outlined above will be accredited on a space-available basis.

We acknowledge that ASHM offices are located on the land of the Gadigal peoples of the Eora Nation (Sydney Office) and the Turrbal and Jagera/Yuggera peoples (Brisbane Office) who are the Traditional Owners of the lands where both offices are situated.
