Cherie Bennet

ASHM Health 

Cherie is a passionate healthcare professional and educator who has been working in the HIV, Sexual Health, and Viral Hepatitis sector for over a decade. Her portfolio of work spans a range of government, non-government, research, and healthcare settings. Cherie works in multiple roles which includes; 

  • Nursing Policy and Advocacy Lead/Medical Educator: Australasian Society for HIV, Viral Hepatitis and Sexual Health Medicine  
  • Clinical Nurse Specialist: Sydney Sexual Health Centre 
  • Program Manager: Kirby Institute (UNSW)  
  • Sessional Academic (Nursing School): University of Wollongong
