Storytelling Sessions

As part of this year's conference, we are running Storytelling Sessions to offer opportunities for those in attendance to share about their work / programs which align with this year’s conference theme: Let’s unite to harness the strength of community, honour and celebrate our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workforce and forge partnerships for change.

The presentations will be a maximum of 5-minutes in length. The presentations will be very informal by nature, and you will not need to develop any materials (PowerPoint etc.). Priority will be given to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and community voices, however all are welcome to submit an expression of interest.

How to submit
To submit an expression of interest for a storytelling session, please download the template and return the completed form, or send an email with the required information, before the abstract submission deadline. There is no need to complete the formal abstract submission process.

Tabletop Presentations

A 7 minute presentation of an activity or idea that has been implemented or tested in your health centre, community etc.

Each presenter shares their story/idea/learning with 10 people at their table. The group discusses the idea and shares other experiences/ideas around the topic for a further 7 minutes. When the time is up, the presenter moves to the next table to present.

A facilitator at each table will help facilitate the discussion and be the note taker.

The aim of the tabletop presentations is to generate idea, experiences and possible solutions to problems shared.
